Long term repair cannot be effectively predicted and the repair methods may not be effective without proper evaluation. Concrete deterioration can be caused by batching errors, concrete placement, reinforcing placement, the addition of water at the point of placement, poor slump, subgrade failure, wrong mix design for the application, and corroded reinforcing.
